I have tried this place many times since it sold from the original owner, Henrietta. The last time I ordered my favorite, the breakfast croissant. I was disappointed. Luckily I was there with friends and it made it better. The croissant was delicious, but the egg was really small and bacon was ok. The hash browns were not good at all either, dry and oily. Not going back ever!

Henrietta's is a nice establishment with a very friendly staff. However, the food here is just...well, plain. We've eaten here three times over the past 6 months and, every time I think we are hoping for more. There seems to be a theme in Los Lunas involving very bland, unseasoned chicken. I'm not sure if the theme continues throughout all of New Mexico, and as always, I'm open to suggestions on where to find a good chicken taco. I do enjoy the gigantic glass of iced tea they offer, though.

I have eaten here from time to time and I always ask myself....why? This is a non-typical Mom and Pop shop. Reason non-typical? The food is just not the type that you say "Man I have to come back for that!" Most of the food is bland, the green chile has mushrooms in it! What kinda New Mexican puts mushrooms in green chile?!?! Now if those were not mushrooms, just what the heck were they!!!??!? Mind you I love mushrooms, but NOT in chile! They do have good salsa and chips. I have tried various things here over the few times that I've been here. All with the feeling of disappointment. Why do I return? Because I didn't want a chain burger. But now with other GOOD restaurant openings in the area I no longer have to.

The outside of the place looked inviting and even the tacky water fountain was semi cool. As soon as I walked into the dining area the smell of urine was overwhelming. The food was disappointing...I order the French Dip and the roast beef was like chewing on leather. Sopapillas were immediately brought out to us which was one of two things they were fresh out of the fryer or they were sitting there for a long time and they were just waiting to get rid of them. Sadly, it was the latter. We will never spend our money here again.

Hate to sound so negative but this place was terrible. No idea how places like this stay open. I should have realized the type of place I was about to eat when they said their special was all u can eat spaghetti. Went there yesterday for first time. Ordered a mexi-sample platter. I was excited to try rellanos. The worst I've ever had and I travel a lot. It was so heavily battered that it took so long to properly fry it that the cheese that was supposed to be in the pepper had completely liquified and was seeping out of what looked like a greasy unglazed donut. The Green chili was below average. Was hoping the taco would salvage the plate but again after one bite, I was extremely disappointed. Honestly, how can u mess up taco meat? It was bad. The only thing on the entire plate that I liked was the guac. Do not go here unless you like bland/terribly executed food.

I love this place, and have for more than 10 years. It has absolutely the best huevos rancheros, green, and you can get anywhere in the metro ABQ area and you substitute soapapillas for the flour tortilla if you choose. The pinto beans are made from scratch and not canned junk. Huevos (served all day) is all I ever order, so I can't speak to the rest of the menu.

We have been to Henrietta's twice recently and have been very pleased. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was fresh and served hot. I ordered the "Fiesta Salad" (twice, because I like it so much the first time) it is their version of a taco salad without beans but lots of lean seasoned ground beef. It was really tasty, with great home made guac. One of the folks we were with had the enchiladas and practically licked the plate clean. Everyone liked their food and we have ordered a variety. It was very tasty both times we have visited. Parking is plentiful and the restaurant appeared to be very clean.

Loved this place, I immediately felt welcomed, The waitress was extremely attentive and the food was delicious and was very generous portion wise...would definitely come back again and again :-)

I was first struck by a very malodorous stench, which I really hoped would fade into the background with yummy eats. Unfortunately, with the sole exception of some very nice sopaipillas, the food was disappointing all the way around. Otherwise the only bright spot was a friendly server and bussboy. I had some pretty lack-luster green chile with meat and beans, which I ordered because I thought it was safe and among those things harder to mess up. But it was super bland, flavorless, and served lukewarm. Not good. One of my two friends had the chorizo con huevo burrito which he was disappointed by, and my other friend got a boring, dry cheeseburger. All of us being either all or part Mexican, we're sticklers for good Mexican food especially here in NM, and unfortunately unless something major changes none of us will be returning.
